Our client, a well-established IT solutions provider located in Toronto, Ontario is in search of a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Identity and Access Management Professional. The Identity and Access Management Professional will be responsible for all façades of protecting both the internal company as customer environment from possible breaches and exposure and will be key to delivering high quality solutions for company customers and associate stakeholders.

The successful candidate must demonstrate confidence and appropriate communications skills both verbally and electronically, along with an excellent command of the English language. The primary role of the incumbent will be highly focused on auditing and protection of the internal company and customers from any known and unknown exploits and breaches. Thus, the right candidate must be a highly skilled technical leader, effective at end-user training and team building, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals. A background in one of the following industries is highly advantageous – Banking, Financial Services, Health Care or Construction.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as the Identity and Access Management Professional:

  • Audit deployments of new firewalls and manage deployed firewalls or security systems.
  • Assess customer Active Directory topology and access models to enhance security.
  • Upgrade patch management based on Security or IAM requirements.
  • Maintenance of IAM technology infrastructure.
  • Ensure all issues and requests are captured and closed via the CRM ticketing system according to company quality and standards.
  • Escalate highly complex issues to the Enterprise Architect team for appropriate routing.
  • Act as administrator to the company’s customer systems services via the firm’s monitoring schemes.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer of multiple systems by accurately documenting all architecture, and credentials within the firm’s system.
  • Manager customer requests ensuring they are handled professionally by appropriately documenting and escalating during Queue shifts as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma
  • IT compliance and security certifications (CISSP, CISA or CISM preferred).
  • 4 years of engineer experience working in a technology/systems department directly supporting customers.
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledge (SOX, FFIEC, and PCI).
  • Must demonstrate strong knowledge of networking technologies, business applications, and modern firewall technologies.
  • Strong understanding of multiple platforms, (Active Directory, Linux, LDAP, and Powershell).
  • Identity and Access Management, Data Security and Privacy, IT Security Administration.

Must be willing to re-locate to Toronto.
