Administrator/Bookkeeper (Part-time) Co-Operative Haus der Heimat – Dorval, QC We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to run the day to day needs of a seniors Co-Op apartment building. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the running of the office.
  • Monthly journal entries – accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc
  • Monthly bank reconciliations – month end closing
  • Preparation of government returns – GST/PST
  • Submit reports and budgets to subsidy programs and government agencies
  • Prepare files for audit, prepare and submit yearly budget.
  • Manage email correspondance
  • Support company procedures as needed
  • Create and update office records, leases and contracts.

Qualifications:

· Familiarity with office management procedures and bookkeeping

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Sage accounting software.
  • English and French required.

Job Details

  • This is a part-time position in Dorval. Hours will vary depending on time of year.
