Conexao Brasil is a cultural specialty store selling products directly from Brazil and Portugal. Our goal is to provide a personalized experience for every customer bringing the warm Brazilian/Portuguese hospitality.

Candidates must be open to learning about all products and how they are used. Knowledge of Portuguese is considered an asset.

Position Summary

The Key Holder provides support to the Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations and in the absence of the Store Manager, the Key Holder ensures that store opening/closing procedures are followed.

Key Accountabilities

The Key Holder is responsible for the following:

• Managing the resources of the store to maximize results and store appearance while making sure to constantly have inventory on the shelves;
• Being familiar with all products in store;
• Operating a cash register;
• Assisting in receiving and stocking of all merchandise;
• Ensuring the established merchandising practices are followed;
• Providing quality customer service; and
• Ensuring store cleanliness.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in the retail industry;
• Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities;
• Strong communication skills;
• Flexibility with regard to availabilities and work schedules (day, evening, week-end); and
• Working knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
