Reporting to the VP Technology Lifecycle Solutions, the Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the overall Warehouse Operations. This role will effectively manage the development and directions of the operational team, to drive success through key Performance Indicators while promoting the highest quality customer satisfaction.

This is a mid-senior level Management role with up to 6 direct reports and a total team of up to 50.

Responsibilities:
Maintain a Safe Work environment in compliance with all provincial legislative requirements
Budget preparation and monitoring of department P&L’s to manage within the guidelines of the operating budget.
Analyzes and reports on all department’s key performance indicators and how they relate to industry trends:
Receiving
Warehousing
Inventory Control
RMA’s
Shipping
Logistics
Freight Spend
CFI (Reverse Logistics)
Service Parts Logistics
Security
Handle customer escalations that require increased attention outside of normal day-to-day activities.
Build strong third party vendor relationships (particularly carrier management)
Management of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System
JD Edwards S.M.E for Warehouse Operations
ISO Process documentation creation, review and updates
Warehouse, Logistics and Operations RFP responses
New customer integration and onboarding
Ensuring system compliance and reporting requirements are met for new customers
Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives and cross functional project teams
Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and decrease costs across the Warehouse and Operations teams
Project Management

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred.
P.Log, PMP or SCMP designations considered an asset.
A proven leader with the ability to manage cross functional teams.
The ability to develop and build a strong, successful team
A track record of delivering sustained, quantifiable results
Advance knowledge of JDE warehouse management system.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels.
Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite / Office Applications.
Proficient technical writing abilities.
Data driven with an ability to use statistical analysis to make sound strategic decisions.
Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment.
Experience with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and SOP development.
Sound decision-making and problem-solving ability.
Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and performance objectives.
Possess the maturity and credibility to negotiate at senior levels both inside and outside the organization.
