COMPU-101 is a full-service IT Solutions company performing both on-site and remote IT services to our clients located in and around the GTA. We are a small but solid company, growing steadily over the past several years. Our clients are small-sized and medium-sized businesses who utilize our services as their outsourced IT Solutions provider.

COMPU-101 is seeking a full-time plus on-call technical Intermediate Remote Helpdesk and Specialist as a replacement role to the current service. The intention of this position is to work a split 16-hour shift. The first 8-hours would be considered the full-time position. The following 8 hours would be on call. The hours of this position are from 6:00pm to 8:00am (evening and overnight). Reporting to a senior team leader, the candidate shall perform daily tasks as assigned such as (but not limited to):
- Handling phone and remote service calls from clients requiring assistance
- Providing remote technical support to all clients at various different support levels
- Provide remote technical services on client servers in various infrastructures
- Creating and managing technical tickets
- Managing IT related alerts and notifications
- Coordinating with other team members
- Working to build best-in-breed managed technical solutions

Technical Skill Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2003-2012 (including R2)
- Excellent knowledge and experience with MS Hyper-V
- Excellent knowledge and experience with VMWare ESXi
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Windows Desktop OS (XP-7)
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Excellent knowledge and experience with backup technologies such as Windows Server Backup, VEEAM, BackupExec, Acronis
- Excellent knowledge and experience with antivirus and antispam technologies
- Excellent knowledge and experience with networking appliances such as commercial-grade firewalls, switches, routers, etc.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with internet / networking concepts such as VPN, Public DNS, Dynamic DNS
- Knowledge and experience with Office 365
.
Additional Technical Skills to mention:
- Knowledge and experience with PSA system, such as Autotask
- Knowledge and experience with RMM system, such as Labtech
- Knowledge and experience with Linux considered an asset
- Knowledge of hosting concepts considered an asset
- Knowledge of Managed IT Services concepts
.
