CTI are looking to hire a Temporary Relief Night Auditor working Fridays & Saturdays 11:00pm to 07:00am shifts (opportunity to work other available shifts) including duties on Switchboard and Bell services. The successful applicant will greet and welcome all guests and provide superior service for all arriving and in-house guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Completes Night Audit responsibilities including:
  • Posts any late charges not posted on previous shift
  • Balances all charge codes not posted on previous shift
  • Scrutinizes room revenue report for reasonability (bucket check). Investigates and corrects inconsistencies
  • Completes credit card and city ledger sequence, as well as audits the Dollars on the Net System
  • Completes back-up procedures
  • Runs one button night audit sequence
  • Runs required reports and distributes to the appropriate offices
  • Delivers audit materials to Accounting Office
  • Ensures that all transactions for a particular date, i.e., Catering transactions, are processed on that day’s totals.

Qualifications & Skill Requirement s:

  • Grade 12 graduation
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality preferred or Hospitality industry courses in Hotel Management
  • Minimum 3 years Front Desk experience
  • Exceptional communication skills demonstrated by clear self-expression and listening skills
  • Uses voicemail, email and company memos appropriately
  • Develops & maintains effective working relationships
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Effective multi-tasking demonstrated by the ability to complete various tasks, in priority sequence with positive outcome
  • Problem solving and decision making ability demonstrated by adequate solutions to presented problems
  • Maintains positive optimistic outlook when leading staff
  • Knowledge of Hotel property management system, excel, email, word and all other relevant computerized applications
  • Superior communication skills in oral and written English
  • Ability to present information to individuals or groups
  • Ability to write business correspondence, reports, memos and other documents
