Responsibilities

The AME Systems Administrator coordinates and facilitates the administration of technical and functional aspects of Asset Maintenance and Engineering (AME) various business applications. Participates in the implementation of new, enhanced, upgraded applications or business procedures. Provides ongoing application support to users. Provides guidance and advice to AME staff and other system users in the analysis of automated data from the various AME business applications.

Qualifications

Completion of a two (2) year diploma in computer systems technology from a recognized Institute of Technology with emphasis in data management, including courses in various software programs, utilities and databases.

Requires two (2) years previous experience working in a data management role including information processing and data analysis, data administration and technical support. Requires up to six (6) months in the position to become familiar with Coast Mountain Bus Company’s business and technical environment (AME system), transit system operations and users’ data requirements

Other Information

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Work Schedule

37.5 hours per week.
