As a member of the Law Branch administrative support team, you will:

Provide general administrative support for the Lawyers, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants

Photocopy correspondence

Scan documents into various electronic databases

Photocopy and compile documents for various legal purposes such as production of records, disclosure packages and briefs

Open, close, update and maintain files (both electronic and paper)

Create cheque requisitions including necessary follow-up

Enter data into Word, Excel and iVos including transcription from hand-written copies

Create miscellaneous forms, letters (using mail-merges), labels and envelopes

Prepare inter-departmental memos and establish follow-up system to ensure response or escalation

Completion of Grade 12 including business subjects related to word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college

A minimum of 2 years diversified word and information processing experience

Work experience within a law environment is considered to be an asset

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

Experience with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and IVOS will be considered to be an


Ability to provide excellent customer service

High level of organization with the ability to understand and manage multiple tasks with different

priority levels

Proficient and accurate typing skills including spelling, grammar and punctuation

Hours of Work:

hours per week, Monday to Friday.
