Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience and Innovation, the Senior Strategic Marketing Officer is
responsible for leading the ETS Customer Experience Group, which includes four critical
teams (4 direct reports and an additional 25 indirectly) related to Customer Engagement and Retention, Brand
Management and Graphic Design, ETS Customer Service Center at City Hall, and the Customer Information Team responsible for multiple information channels to deliver current information including real-time status. Join our team today and make an impact in the work that you do!
The successful candidate will:
Manage 4 teams of approximately 30 personnel in total
Set team performance objectives and oversee tactical development and marketing strategy to meet overall department objectives
Define marketing strategy, guidelines, and City policies in terms of service awareness, customer retention and branding
Perform strategic planning with customer facing staff, supervisors and leaders across the branch
Define and oversee the implementation of the branch’s communication channel strategy
Identify how to effectively reach market segments in ways that are efficient, effective, and timely
Collaborate the research resources in order to define market research objectives, scope, methodologies and areas of analysis on key projects
Directly managing staff responsible for customer information services across self-serve on-line, as well as telephone, print, and in person channels, the ETS customer Service Center at City Hall,and community relations programming
Overseeing transit center and LRT station signage, clock towers, vehicle fleet design and product design
Qualifications
:
Bachelors of Commerce in Marketing, Public Administration or Management; a Masters of Business, or Public Administration is preferred
10 years of total marketing experience
4 years of experience managing a marketing function or department
Experience with strategic planning, brand management, channel marketing and loyalty marketing
Experience with cost-effective allocation of funds across various teams and projects
Ability to resolve problems relating to customer attrition and fare product sales targets
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Applications including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides
Hours of Work:
36.9
hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Salary:
ML2 $82,535 –
$117,905 (Annually)
