Junior Analyst Work Experience Student (Leasing and Property Management) Job Number : 23457 1 temporary full-time position for 4 or 8 months intended specifically for students currently enrolled in a 2nd year or higher business, management or equivalent post-secondary work experience program, commencing in September 2015.
The Leasing and Property Management team is looking for a student with strong critical thinking skills to provide support in facility management projects and initiatives. Working alongside a Leasing and Property Management Officer, and with the Building and Land team, this position will ensure accuracy and consistency of real estate data in the database and reporting tools. Your creativity and new ideas for how to improve data collection and verification and the reporting of that data will be encouraged. Duties include:

  • Assist with the verification of database accuracy and data collection from civic owned and leased buildings

  • Verify floor plan accuracy and edit floor plans
  • Conduct site visits to confirm data integrity
  • Assist with the creation and revision of reports

Qualifications
:

  • Currently enrolled in a 2nd year or higher Business, General Management or related co-op or equivalent post-secondary work experience program

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis with proven attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of a supervisor
  • Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
  • Demonstrated ability using and reading architectural plans is an asset
  • Familiarity with reporting logic and database design is an asset

Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: $20.911- $24.396 (Hourly)
