Temporary position (14 months)

Reporting to the Project Director – Infrastructure, you will be required to:

Plan and monitor the various projects under your responsibility and ensure that the work of service providers meets the organization’s expectations (in terms of content, schedule, budget and quality) and complies with service level agreements.

Conduct feasibility analyses and ensure that the issues identified reflect the parameters established for the project;

Ensure proper budget follow-up;

Ensure that the technical design of the equipment to be manufactured or acquired meets the standards and criteria required by the designers and/or relevant advisors, as well as other production requirements;

Ensure that designs are validated by the stakeholders involved;

Ensure that methods, operating standards and work techniques are firmly established and understood by end-users;

Develop and coordinate a schedule for carrying out assigned projects;

Participate in the call for tenders process for projects and in the drafting of contracts;

Follow up with suppliers to ensure that the agreed deadlines are respected and that their personnel/installations comply with tender specifications;

Ensure that the project tracking system is updated with relevant project information to allow timely reporting to the stakeholders and provide post-mortem and project reports as required;;

Ensure that the finalized documentation corresponds to the relevant advisors’ requested specification, and that it is sufficiently clear and accurate to allow for a smooth hand-over of projects to the requesters. This includes installation procedures, operating manuals, maintenance manuals, emergency procedures and any other technical documentation required.


The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Degree in project management or
equivalent experience;

Six to eight years’
experience in a similar position;

Experience in a touring show
environment is a strong asset;

Experience in project
management; in any of the following disciplines: Building Mechanics and
electricity; Front of House; Grandstands and seating; Prefabricated
structures; Tents and structures; Acrobatic elements; Automation; Lighting
and Projection; Rigging; Scenic elements; Sound.

Experience in Personnel supervision

Excellent decision-making

Excellent organizational
skills, initiative and autonomy;

Good knowledge of Microsoft
applications in the Windows environment;

Knowledge of AutoCAD, an asset;

Fluency in English and French,
both written and spoken;

Availability and authorization
to travel internationally.
