Job Overview

As the IT Project Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and managing practices and processes for all intake requests submitted by business partners to engage internal service providers to deliver technology services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement processes and tools for managing Intake requests, workflow, pricing/estimating, dispute and issue resolution, and reporting.
  • Manage progress of intake processing against established service levels.
  • Manage turnaround time of intermediate deliverables with business reps, technical design team, department reps and external groups.
  • Provide transparency on status of requests in the intake queue, including expected completion.
  • Manage changes to the prioritization of intake requests.
  • Manage regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings to clarify requirements, discuss solution, provide estimates, review status and obtain senior director approvals.
  • Arbitrate complaints or escalations regarding intakes, which could be related to, for example, urgency, turnaround time, resource assignments or quality of the response.
  • Review content of responses for clarity and completeness before they are returned to the requestor.
  • Maintain historical pricing/estimating data that is useful as a reference for new requests.
  • Provide reporting on intake metrics and accomplishments.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of intake processes.
  • Support on projects, finance and other administration duties may be required.

Qualifications
What We Are Looking For

  • Successful candidates must exhibit CIBC’s values of trust, team work, and accountability.
  • Must have Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have at a minimum 4 years’ experience managing all facets of a project as an IT Project Control Coordinator.
  • Must have experience developing and implementing processes.
  • Must have hands on experience working with MS project tools; Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio .
