Position:
Immigration Paralegal / Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate gathering of information and documentation
  • Organize files for Immigration Consultant to review
  • Answer client’s queries related to documentation and their files
  • Researching, compiling and organizing facts and research for applications;
  • Update the website as per the requirement
  • Drafting forms and compiling client documents for applications for temporary and permanent residence

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 5 years of Experience in immigration applications preparations as an administrative assistant or paralegal
  • Experience in Canadian Immigration system
  • Advanced knowledge of applications for temporary residence (study permits, work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments, visitor visas etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of applications for permanent residence (spousal sponsorships, Express Entry economic class, Provincial Nominee Program etc.)
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task, reliable, punctual, able to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Language Ability:

  • Language ability – English – Excellent
  • Exceptional legal writing skills, verbal and written communication;
  • Additional language – French will be an asset

Academic Qualification:

Undergraduate university degree preferably in law / communication
