The IT Manager position will be responsible for building and managing the IT team. You’ll be accountable for all aspects of our internal IT (computers, phones, network, software, manufacturing technology) across multiple teams in 3 locations across Canada. The position requires a diverse range technical skills and experience, as well as the ability to manage and lead a team.
Key Objectives

  • Recruit for and manage the internal IT team
  • Maintain and continually improve IT infrastructure
  • Manage budgets and develop KPIs for IT services
  • Work alongside our automation specialists to develop and deploy new initiatives within our manufacturing environments
  • Advise technology leaders in the company on ways to drive efficiency and productivity through IT
  • Manage IT assets and oversee maintenance
  • Implement process and procedure to ensure consistent quality and deliverability with respect to IT support and services
  • Manage external vendors and develop relationships

Requirements:
Must Have

  • Minimum 8 years total work experience in technology
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar IT management position
  • A broad range of experience in enterprise environments across all aspects of IT including networking, VoIP, hardware, software
  • Expert knowledge deploying and managing Mac OS X and experience with Mac OS X server
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP and single sign-on solutions
  • Working knowledge of Ubiquiti UniFi or Cisco Meraki access points
  • An understanding of network and data security best practices
  • Minimum CCNA certification
  • Perfectionist attitude with drive to get things done quickly and efficiently

Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of linux system administration (Ubuntu & CentOS/RHEL)
  • Experience with enterprise deployment of Office365
  • Relevant job history in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with physical security technology (access control, cameras, security systems)
  • A passion for food!

Benefits:
This is a highly autonomous role that reports directly to the VP of Technology. Some travel may be required from time to time.
