Description and Desired Qualifications
Software and Business Process Specialist – Calgary, Alberta

Role/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate project execution success on Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) projects for industrial and commercial clients, specifically centered around the information management (IM) practice
• Consult with clients in defining information management solutions within their EHS&S business needs
• Utilize strong information management background in the areas of environmental management systems, multi-media (air, water, waste) compliance, climate change, auditing and sustainability to develop target clients to complete projects and build a client base
• This position has an emphasis on technical delivery, but may also include serving as a Project Manager or supporting business development.
• Communicate with internal and external clients, stakeholders and regulatory personnel on an as needed basis.
• Build and maintain client relationships, network within client organizations, participate in technical seminars and conferences including delivery of technical presentations
• Support the overall growth and success of CH2M HILL’s EHS&S practice, transfer knowledge and stewarding client satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of information management experience within process and business consultancy preferably within EHS&S
• Experience with at least one off the shelf electronic information management solutions (e.g., IHS E-Suite, Enviance, Enablon, SAP, KMI, or Intelex)
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and verbal communication skills are required
• Experience with ISO14001 and ISO55000 is an asset
• Training others is desirable and experience working in a team environment is required
• Bachelor of Science degree required, a Master of Science degree preferred, in a related discipline from an accredited university
  • Preferred degree in environmental engineering or environmental sciences
• Strong environmental background would be considered an advantage
