Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer | Chief Compliance Officer, the Fund Administrator is responsible for aiding in the professional management and administration of investment subscriptions for Centurion Asset Management Inc.
T h e Fund Administrator is accountable for the effective and efficient completion of duties to ensure that the established standards of Centurion Asset Management Inc. and its Unit Holders are realized.
1 . Relationship Development
Developing and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring proactive timely resolution of Advisor and Client concerns.
2 . Customer Service
P ro f e ssionally and courteously handling all Advisor and Client inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns. Ensuring a high level of professionalism is achieved through constant and consistent attention to Centurion’s Vision, Mission, and Values. Promoting a strong sense of community.
3 . Ongoing Operations
A iding in the subscription agreement process; ensuring that all agreements meet established compliance standards, are addressed within 24 hours, and close within the same month that they are received. Reviewing the electronic fund database; making sure that all requests are addressed in a timely manner and all pertinent information is transferred into Centurion’s computerized tracking system. Using various reports and system checks to follow up on outstanding tickets and ensure all documents necessary to complete the trade are collected. Reconciling monthly distribution rates in accordance with fund management instructions, ensuring that all investor account information is up to date and accurate. Processing redemption requests according to established policies and procedures. Creating and arranging the delivery of trade confirmation pages, unit holder certificates, and welcome letters provided to all new Unitholders. Preparing investor statements, letters, and documents as needed. Contacting advisors to collect subscription agreements and all other documentation required to close a trade. Coordinating the payment of commissions to advisors and dealer companies. Completing and filing monthly Security Commissions reports, ensuring that all associated fees are paid in a timely manner. Maintaining continuous compliance with Anti- Money Laundering Regulations and Centurion Asset Management Inc. fund policies at all times.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years’ fund administration experience.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong command of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented; able to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense.
Forward thinking with an ability to develop creative strategic solutions to issues.
Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner.
A passion for excellence in customer service delivery.
Successfully completing the exempt market dealer course within the first six (6) months of employment.
