We are seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join Centric Health – Viewpoint to help drive and develop key client relationships. As a member of the Business Development team, you will be focused on maintaining strong business relationships with targeted customers and prospects. Key Accountabilities
Develop/maintain strong business relationships with targeted customers and prospects.
Perform direct customer sales; sourcing, promoting and maintaining customer relations within an approved budget/plan and in accordance with overall strategy
Provide input to assist with preparation of business development plans and strategies consistent with the overall goals and objectives of the business.
Working as a member of the business development team, work with the leads of each Centre to achieve their marketing plan as it relates to business development
Make sales calls to new and existing clients; and maintain a customer database.
Generate and qualify leads
Provide input to assist with development of presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports.
Conduct product training with clients.
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
Work with the Business Development Manager to coordinate all publicity, advertising, direct mail, catalogs, exhibits, awards, newsletters, author communications, title sub right activities and website management.
Represent Centric Health – Viewpoint at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events.
Increase Centric Health’s market share and business ensuring all marketing initiatives are performed in keeping with Centric Health’s Strategic Direction, Mission and Values.
As a member of the Business Development Team, assisting in initiatives as required to ensure the success of the whole team.
Qualifications
Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, clients, referral sources and employers.
1-2 years of sales or industry experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in the design and implementation of a strategic marketing plan.
Ability to set challenging goals and implement an action plan to achieve same.
Proven customer service skills
Proven negotiating skills.
Demonstrated ability in developing marketing plans and meeting objectives
Ability to work within a cohesive team environment.
Demonstrated ability to market to current and new customers
Effective at adapting to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and sudden or frequent changes in priorities in order to accomplish objectives.
Experience or understanding of the health care and rehabilitation industry a definite asset.
Travel up to 15% of time, as required.
