Job Title: Human Resources Administrator

Work Location: 2330 Midland Avenue, Toronto, ON M1S 5G5

Hours: 35 hours per week; may need to work occasionally evenings,

weekends and holidays

Salary: $41,405 per year

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee the recruitment process, schedules and prepares for new hire onboarding
• Establishes and maintains records of all employees
• Responds to various HR related queries from managers and employees
• Provide support in maintaining effective employee and Labour Relations
• Prepares reports as required

Qualifications:

• A university degree; human resource management preferred, and one-year related business experience working in a unionized environment preferred;
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer graphics, internet and email;
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential operational matters;
• Ability to compute numbers, create reports using data;
• Ability to manage time, stress and meet deadlines calmly in a fast-paced environment;
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to take initiative;
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to work with a large and diverse group of team members;
• Results oriented, proactive and resourceful with a quality standards approach;
• Knowledge of a second language, both verbal and written, is an asset.
