We are a company that helps utilities network on a variety of energy topics. We are currently looking for a web developer to support our client web portal, public website, and company intranet. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the company’s IT hardware & software.

Specifically, the IT Support (Tier 1) & Web Developer is responsible for the following:

- Maintaining & Developing our Client Web Portal (HTML/PHP/Javascript/Databases)- Maintaining & Developing our Intranet (HTML/PHP/Javascript/Databases)- Maintaining & Developing our Public Website (WordPress/HTML/PHP)- Purchasing, inventory, managing and supporting office IT equipment, including:

  • Laptop/Desktop Computers & Accessories
  • Network and Local Printers
  • Projectors
  • Teleconferencing
  • Microphones
  • Phone & Voicemail system

- Installing, licensing, troubleshooting of Computer Hardware, Software and Drivers (Windows, Office, Anti-virus, Adobe, Dropbox, Webex, 1C, Google, SAGE50, etc.)

- Administrating various email systems.

  • Distribution Lists/Systems
  • Bulk Email Campaign Systems

- Address/dispatch/escalate staff and client help tickets as necessary.

The successful applicant must have the following qualities:

  • Organized and reliable.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines.
  • English is a MUST, French is an asset.
  • Proficiency with web programming in PHP/HTML
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and video editing is an asset.
  • A strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
