Design Interns Needed!

Experienced designers and new graduates welcome! We are currently looking for 2 creative designers to partake in a one month internship, and will be offering a chance at a full time position at the end.

The CDI Furniture Design team represents a brand that demonstrates elegance, and prides itself in its ability to create home furnishings that embody the latest fashion trends and are constructed out of the finest quality materials.

CDI Furniture currently has a very young and dynamic design team, creating innovative furniture designs. We are currently looking for someone who is motivated, passionate, and stylish, takes initiative and is willing to travel for work.

The position requires the following skills:

• Must be skilled with AutoCAD
• Must be able to create and merchandise stylish design settings for our furniture display units at show rooms, trade shows and displays for presentations/ catalog images. They must also have the ability to creatively add decor to enhance the look of our presentation.
• Must be willing to travel to Asia where our factories are located and to the United States where our show rooms / trade shows are located. (All food, Hotel and travel expenses will be paid by CDI Furniture)
• Preference will be given to candidates who have had experience with 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft office Suite.
• Must be able to sketch and design rooms on AutoCAD. Rendering on 3DS Max is an asset
• Must be able to design furniture to scale on AutoCAD
