We are currently seeking a Finance Clerk based out of our corporate office. As a key member of the Finance team, the Finance Clerk will provide general administrative support. This position will report directly to Director of Financial Reporting or designate.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team
  • Assist with Receivables
  • Assist with Payables, including recording and payment processing as well as printing, coding, and validating expense reports
  • Organize pending invoices for payment from our internal ticketing system (JIRA)
  • Assist in maintaining the general Corporate AP email
  • Ensure staff and customers are supported in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Perform clerical duties such as maintaining filling and record systems, and other general office duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following characteristics:

  • Proficient skills in MS application, including Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Experience with Great Plains (an asset)
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Sound judgment and decision making ability
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Completion of post-secondary, degree in Accounting or Business Administration


  • 1 to 3 years working as a Finance Clerk or similar role
  • Must be very detail-oriented and have the ability to provide excellent work ethic
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to prioritize workflow and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information with professionalism and tact
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Must have the ability to work independently and also as an effective member of a team
