Training / Relief Position

You coordinate and ensure the continuity of acquisition, feed and communication resources for CBC/Radio-Canada networks and external clients. You ensure the correct operation of master control equipment used for network broadcasts and radio presentation. You also distribute the signals of programs or program segments, ensuring quality control. You book circuits as required, as well as find and apply solutions to problems that arise before and during broadcast.
Qualifications
You possess:

  • College diploma in TV production and post-production techniques, or other relevant field
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience performing related duties
  • Judgment and initiative
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders; people and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of satellite, terrestrial and IP transmissions
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Bilingualism (English and French) an asset
  • Computer literacy
  • Willingness to work on a rotating schedule (days, evenings, nights)
