This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week.
You will be joining an established Agency that is guided by faith to care for and bring hope to people in need with humility, compassion and respect. With more than 50 years of service delivery, Catholic Social Services is one of the largest multi-function social services agencies in Canada, with more than 1600 staff, and 2000 volunteers delivering 130+ programs through Central and Northern Alberta. As a Child and Family Coordinator, you will use problem solving, risk management and communication skills to be a liaison between parents, guardians, doctors, occupational therapists, schools and program staff. Your clear communication between program staff and families ensures that you share information in a timely manner. You collaborate with program staff and parents/guardians to develop individualized service goals in order that the direction of service intervention/support assists youth in our care to strengthen their resiliency and well-being.
A Degree/Diploma in Human Services or equivalent along with 2 years’ experience working with children/youth and their families has prepared you for this challenging and rewarding position. The ability to work with children with disabilities is essential and knowledge of sensory processing and integration is an asset. You are proficient with Microsoft Office and other applications/databases. A vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for this position.
The salary range for this position is $23.96-$26.97 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
