Purpose of Job
Responsible for overall preparation of condiments, food delivery and presentation of the Casino Buffet food items.

Primary Responsibilities
Set up, place, turn on and fill equipment with hot water or ice as necessary
Fill carts with appropriate food items to transport to buffet stations.
Ensure that all food is transported, handled and stored in a wholesome, sanitary manner.
Maintain kitchen transport carts in a clean and sanitary manner.
All food products (hot and cold) are kept full, clean and garnished.
Maintains buffet line in a clean and orderly fashion.
Informs Kitchen Supervisor on status of food product amounts on the buffet line
Make sure stations are stocked for oncoming shift.
Promote and maintain a team environment at all times.
Maintain appearance standards as outlined in departmental and Casino New Brunswick policies.
Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.
Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all Team Members.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Secondary Responsibilities
Must be able to move 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
Must be able communicate effectively with guests
Working Conditions
Must work well under pressure.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours or longer.
Must be 19 years of age or older
Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays)
Willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards and position, and/or obtain and maintain an NBLGC license registration
Knowledge and Skills Required
Must possess or obtain Safe Food Handling, Responsible Beverage Service and follow all Worksafe NB rules and regulations.
Ability to read and understand recipes.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Minimum six months experience working in a kitchen environment.
Knowledgeable in handling kitchen equipment.
Maintain knowledge of buffet food and beverage offerings.
Operate and clean related kitchen equipment.
Ability to communicate in English and French is a definite asset
Must have employment eligibility in Canada

You must be 19 years of age or older with the ability to work a flexible schedule, we are an approved 24/7 operation. Bilingualism is a definite asset.
