Operating in Edmonton and area since 1963, our 2,700 staff members provide care and services for more than 1,400 elderly and disabled adults living in 11 care centres, as well as over 300 clients living in the community. Regular Part-time; 31.00 hours per week; Days; 0800-1615h & 0815-1630H (4 Days per week)

Salary: $52.44 – $60.29 per hour as per the HSAA Collective Agreement

Provides pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical care required in accordance with professional practice and standards. Promotes safe and appropriate use of drugs in resident care. Participates in the routine operation of the department on a daily basis. Compounds, dispenses and distributes medications and other pharmaceuticals to residents from prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists and other qualified practitioners. Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university is required.
  • Must be registered/eligible to register with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.

  • Pharmacists Association in Alberta
  • Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists
  • American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (Canadian Chapter)


  • One year of institutional pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Computer experience is required.

  • Must be capable of advanced learning in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).

  • Reports any unsafe acts or conditions to the person in charge of the area and complies with safety and fire regulations and procedures.
