Journeyman Automotive or Heavy Duty Technician. 3 or 4 year apprentices will be considered depending on experience & knowledge to date.

We’re looking for someone who: – Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service – Enjoys diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment – Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service – Has a valid drivers’ license and good driving record. Must own a set of tools.

We’ll give preference to individuals with: – 2-4 years of automotive/Heavy Duty and/or forklift mechanic experience. – Average computer skills and a passion for problem solving

Job Description Working independently as a service technician at customer’s facilities and in the shop, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing material handling equipment

Specific Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, combustion engines (Diesel-gas-LP powered) * Advise the customer of his/her present and/or future service needs * Estimate machine repair requirements and prepare necessary data to provide an accurate repair quote to the customer

  • Comply with all service department and company procedures, policies, and programs. * Consistently present a professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company equipment

* Required Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Technically knowledgeable and skilled in the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and

electrical systems

  • Troubleshooting experience with, hydraulics, electrical and fuel systems
  • Able to accurately complete service-related documents and paperwork
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Basic inventory management skills
  • Good organization skills

* Required Experience

  • Licensed Automotive or registered apprentice 3 or 4 year
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.

Considered Assets

  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mobile equipment
  • Demonstrated experience working with one or more of the following: Electrical, hydraulics, and Engines (Diesel-Gas & LP powered)
  • Demonstrated experience working in direct contact with customers on service-related activities
