Responsibilities

The Program Lead is responsible for the efficient organization, management, operation and evaluation of three (3) simulation sites within the QEII Health Sciences Centre. This role encompasses managing budgets and human resources, implementing business plan recommendations, procuring supplies and equipment, monitoring and tracking inventory, reporting on performance metrics, managing assets, and developing and implementing databases.

Qualifications

* Bachelor degree from a health discipline
* Five (5) years of progressively responsible administration/education experience
* Registration with applicable licensing body
* Simulation Technician Certification an asset
* Adult Education Certificate an asset
* Knowledge of clinical equipment used in the delivery of simulation scenarios
* Knowledge of computer programs used in simulation scenarios
* A good working knowledge and understanding of the health care environment is required
* Experience working in a simulation centre/environment an asset

Hours of Work

* Permanent Part-time (50%) Position; 37.5 hours biweekly

Salary

Program Lead:
$31.9383 – $42.4362 hourly
