We are recruiting for Shuttle Coordinator, Sales & Marketing (Seasonal)

The Capilano Shuttle Coordinator is part of the Sales & Marketing Team, responsible for the active off site promotion of tourist visits to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The prime responsibility is to encourage ridership on our free shuttle service from key strategic tourist locations in the Vancouver area. The Capilano Shuttle Coordinator will also promote visits to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park through our sightseeing and tour company partners.

The Capilano Shuttle Coordinator’s role includes on site management of the shuttle service which includes guest loading, liaison with the shuttle drivers and communicating with our shuttle service provider on any problems or logistical matters.

Sales & Marketing activities will be required throughout the day, as time and the shuttle schedule permit. This includes calling on key hotels to ensure up-to-date shuttle information is on hand for their guests, on-going public relations with our sightseeing partners. This is a perfect position for anyone who has the gift of conversation and passion for amazing guest interactions.

Job Requirements Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in Guest Services,
  • University or college degree (or working towards) in a related discipline (ex Business, Tourism & Hospitality), an asset,
  • Can handle stressful situations and meet fluctuating and demanding needs,
  • Strong communication skills, multilingual is considered an asset,
  • Must have a passion for guest service, our city and its many attractions,
  • Must be available ASAP – October 31, 2015.

Working Conditions:

  • Will be required to stand on your feet for extended periods of time while working

or proceed with Standard Application Form.
