We are looking for a skilled Accounting Office Clerk to perform a various administrative and accounting to support our offices.

Accounting Office Clerk will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phone to basic bookkeeping, Job includes keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will also run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.

You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with office equipment and procedures.


  • Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
  • Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
  • Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, checks etc.
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
  • Constantly update job knowledge
  • Assist in office management and organization procedures
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages
  • Perform other office duties as assigned


  • Proven experience as accounting or other clerical position
  • Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of office devices and processes
  • Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
  • High school diploma
  • Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
