The Canadian Red Cross, a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to helping Canadians as well as the vulnerable throughout the world, is currently seeking a First Aid Representative.
The incumbent will be responsible to support, maintain, and grow market share while representing the Canadian Red Cross, First Aid, Swimming & Water Safety positively and professionally in the development & maintenance of strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
Develops and manages the customer relationship with Training Partners to support and grow first aid market share.
Monitors and analyses sales report and key performance indicators.
Supports the Quality Assurance office in investigations and issue resolution processes & activities when requested.
Identifies opportunities and works collaboratively with the Training Partner to implement strategies for growth.
Reports non-compliance of all policies including codes of conduct, program standards, Training Partner agreements, graphic standards and use of emblem regulations.
Supports, both internally and externally, the use of technology and new initiatives.
Contributes to the discussion and planning required to support our training goal targets.
Collaborates with local Red Cross to promote “one Red Cross” in the community.
Employees and Volunteers at every level are responsible for safe work practices and to adhere to practices outlined in their applicable provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Support other Red Cross initiatives, as needed, to provide for a coordinated team effort to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable in the community.
The minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s degree in education or marketing or a related field, and three to six years of work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and experience in First Aid training.
Demonstrated supervisory management skills.
Experience in coordination and leading project teams.
Demonstrated sound sales abilities.
Superior organization and time management skills.
Excellent presentation and customer service skills are required.
Strong communication skills in both English and French is required.
Demonstrated computer skills.
Ability to solve complex problems, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team and build positive internal and external relationships.
A valid driver’s license and licensed vehicle in good working condition is required.
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
