Overview of Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Administration, the Receptionist/Office Administration Generalist acts as central receptionist for the Partnership, as well as provides general administrative support to the Division.

This position is part of the Finance and Corporate Services Division of the Partnership. This Division is responsible for Finance, IT technical requirements and all Corporate Shared Services needed to secure a sound financial platform and ensure that the Partnership has the technical, operational, infrastructure and day-to-day capabilities necessary to achieve the maximum cancer-reducing impact for its mandated budget.

Qualifications:

  • College/University degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages is preferred
  • A minimum of 6 months relevant office administrative experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in healthcare and/or not-for-profit is an asset
  • Knowledge of administrative protocols and office procedures and practices to provide administrative assistance to the department
  • Knowledge of electronic and paper-based document management systems
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills; quality and detail oriented
  • Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills and good judgment
  • Strong internal and external relationship management skills, ability to interact and work professionally and effectively with staff, clients and vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to answer queries and prepare correspondence and reports; ability to communicate effectively in both official languages is preferred
  • Self-motivation and initiative
  • A commitment to collaboration and a joint-accountability approach
  • Adaptability, flexibility, diplomacy and tact
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
