Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Mess Manager, the Bar Supervisor/Administrative Assistant plans, organizes, staffs and directs all bar activities and events according to established policies and regulations. He/she organizes and supervises private functions, as required. He/she trains and supervises employees. He/she also monitors and orders liquor and bar supplies.

Qualifications:
College diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Food Management, or related field and some years experience in hospitality, food & beverage sector AND some years experience in an office environment
OR
High school diploma and several years experience in beverage sector and office environment or a related field
AND
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario (18 years)
Responsible beverage service certification, an asset

Language Requirement:
English Mandatory

Experience Requirements:

  • In bar operations
  • In office administration
  • In providing customer service
  • In budget administration
  • In cash handling
  • In inventory control
  • In personnel administration
  • In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing

Salary: $15.53 – $20.06 per hour
