CCA is an independent non-profit organization. CCA offers accreditation services specifically tailored to community-based health and social services across Canada. Our services are based on best practices in governance, leadership, and management, and in program areas including: child and youth services, community-based primary health care services, community mental health and addictions services, community support services, and family services. CCA provides excellence and leadership in accreditation by assuring quality and continuous improvement in community-based health and social services.

The organization is currently seeking an experienced, professional and high-performing full-time Project Coordinator, Standards Development & Special Projects . This position will start as a one-year contract position, and will then be made into a permanent full-time position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Standards Revision

  • Project manage the revision of existing accreditation standards to ensure that key milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate and negotiate to move towards consensus when working with small and large steering, working and advisory groups.
  • Be able to facilitate and engage with a diverse set of external stakeholders: clients, reviewers, subject matter experts, and other key thought leaders.
  • Ability to collate and assess information and input on revisions.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement in CCA standards.
  • Support the strategic management of CCA’s standards to ensure that they remain credible, are of excellent quality and have buy-in from CCA stakeholders.


  • Be able to develop written communications that are clear, concise and accurate, reflecting the necessary evidence used to develop the communication documents in a timely manner: briefings, reports, correspondence, policies, procedures, minutes, and etc.,

Performance measurement development & quality

  • Develop, assess and report on performance measures to support operations and services.

Special projects

  • Manage and provide project management support on special projects that include IT/IM, procurement, quality improvement, accreditation services, and communications, where required.


  • Be able to work with, and support other members of the CCA team.
  • Taking initiative to work with other members of the team to further work culture and performance.
  • Participate and support regular team meetings and activities (staff meetings, operational planning, strategic planning).

Skills, Aptitude and Qualifications

  • Must have completed a minimum of an undergraduate degree, but prefer graduate-level education.
  • Must possess superior project management skills; PMP welcome.
  • Must possess superior communication skills, written and oral.
  • Must possess ability and experience to lead, facilitate and work with diverse working groups, teams, committees.
  • Must have five or more years of experience.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Have managed large-scale projects and/or initiatives.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong risk management skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
  • Knowledge of the health and/or social services sector is ideal.
  • Possess experience on the development of performance measures, performance management and quality improvement.
  • Possess experience in standards or policy or performance measurement development.
  • Bilingual (French and English) an asset

Salary: $40,000.00 to $46,000.00 /year
