Program Management, Engineering – MON12944-C
Location: St. Laurent (Montreal), Quebec
Duration: 6-12 Months

The candidate must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in project management, preferably within an aerospace engineering environment.
Must have a good understanding of financial processes and differences between direct/indirect cost and recurring/non-recurring costs, EBIT, cash flow statements.
The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with knowledge of data base management, scheduling and spreadsheets .
Knowledge with Microsoft Project is an asset.
Must have detailed project management knowledge.
Knowledge of Bombardier Aerospace engineering system is an asset.
Must have excellent leadership and problem resolution skills.
Must have excellent organisational skills and able to work toward aggressive deadlines.
Must have extensive experience in project management activities.
Knowledge of organizational efficiency systems, such as Achieving Excellence is an asset.
Must have Knowledge on implementation of change management activities
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and French.
Must be able to understand / comprehend high-level technical issues.
Must have a good knowledge of manufacturing concepts and processes: logistics, tooling, methods, etc.

Description

In your role, you will: •

  • Be the main focal in regards to cost and budget tracking for specific work package, liaising with most support functions and some external suppliers as well as our Manufacturing Center in Mexico. •
  • Track progress on project plans and/or work-package program schedule, critical path and implementation activities to achieve key milestones. •
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly financial and/or project governances. •
  • Participate in the Program Changes Request’s analysis (technical, financial and schedule) •
  • Define, collect and analyze data associated to program KPI definition & Monitor Program KPI •
  • Track and follow-up on action related to Program management functions

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, •

  • You hold a University degree in a related field (Business, Finance, Project Administration) •
  • You have five to eight years of experience in the aerospace industry •
  • You hold a PMI/PMP certification is an asset •
  • You have good language skills : Bilingual English and French •
  • You have good knowledge of manufacturing concepts and processes: logistics, tooling, methods, etc. •
  • You have good knowledge of program and projects scheduling management and implementation, and critical path identification •
  • You have excellent Communication skills: verbal and written •
  • You have good knowledge of the change management process •
  • You have good understanding of financial basics and differences between direct/indirect cost and recurring/non-recurring costs •
  • You have excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite with knowledge of data base management, scheduling and spreadsheets
