The Manager, Conference Services is responsible for developing marketing plans that build the College’s image and maximize potential revenues through the year-round rental of facilities at the North and Lakeshore campuses and the University of Guelph- Humber when not in use for academic purposes. This includes creating and marketing revenue opportunities for Food Services, Athletics, Media Services and LinX. The incumbent manages the Conference Services Department which is a one stop shop for client services and rental of College facilities.

Duration of Need: 15 months *3 year diploma /degree in marketing, hospitality management, or public relations

  • Experience with various marketing and media strategies to develop targeted marketing plans
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to try different things with minimal direction
  • Customer-centric and results-driven
  • Project management acumen; detail-oriented but able to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Accountability; owns deliverables and delivers reliably
