Are you the kind of person that likes to lend a helping hand? Are you ‘that’ go-to person with a sunny disposition and an approachable way about you? And most of all, are you the consummate ‘people person’? If this describes you, then we would love to talk to you about our opening for a Member Service Counsellor at our Moncton NB location. We’re looking for a person who can embrace our Member First philosophy through their genuine interest in our Members, but can also understand the intricate ins and outs of the vast array of products and services that CAA offers.

What Drives you?

  • Customer Service is your life; you live it, breath it, and most importantly you understand what it takes to deliver it.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and learning the details of the job, and welcome feedback enabling you to excel at the job.
  • You embrace challenges and you can handle the toughest situations with patience and grace.
  • You consider it a great day when you have delivered impeccable customer service.

What you’ll be doing on the job:

Reporting to the Manager of the Member Service Center, you’ll provide outstanding service and relevant solutions to our members while promoting CAA’s products and services. This means you will be speaking with our Members in person and over the phone, taking payments, enhancing their memberships, and explaining our products. Sometimes you will be taking their passport pictures and sometimes you will be issuing their International Drivers Permit. You will be helping them plan their road trips by taking customized orders and handing out tour books and maps. After you’ve been with us for a while you will be handling their car rentals and hotel reservations and providing them with travel medical insurance.

What has made you who you are:

  • You are fluently bilingual in English and French
  • You possess a high school diploma and preferably have some post-secondary education under your belt.
  • You’re savvy with computer software and can pick up new skills quickly.
  • You’re organized; it’s not unusual to see you with a ‘to-do’ list.
  • You have enjoyed your experience working with the public.
  • You know your way around a map and can identify many major US and Canadian cities.
  • Most of all you have an awesome attitude and desire to help people.
  • You can be flexible and work the occasional early evening and Saturday.

CAA offers you:

  • A compensation plan that includes a competitive salary, and CAA’s pay-for-performance incentives.
  • An exceptional benefits package
  • A personalized Wellness program
  • Onsite parking
