POSITION: Account Executive/Account Specialist (Contract Position)

BROOKLINE PUBLIC RELATIONS, INC. is growing and looking for the best qualified candidate for an Account Executive/Account Specialist contract position.
This successful candidate must have:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of public relations, communications experience (agency experience is a plus).
• Experience providing communications strategy and execution for a variety of clients and/or in-house departments.
• Client/project service excellence.
• Budget management expertise.
• Strong media relations experience and media contacts.
• Social media/Digital strategy experience.
• Event planning experience.
• Advanced-level writing expertise.
• Superb project management skills.
• Strategic and tactical excellence.
• High standards for self and others.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and public relations passion.
• Desire to go the “extra mile”.

Responsibilities include:

• Development of media/social and corporate communications plans.
• Provide internal and external communications strategies on a variety of client projects.
• Execution of a wide range of public relations activities.
• Work with internal and external teams.
• Build strong relations with clients and prospects.
• Project management on client projects.

In addition, the successful candidate must have at least a post secondary degree (Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, and/or Business) and possess keen interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven track-record to meet tight deadlines.
