The Inside Operations Supervisor will operate out of our Halifax branch, and will report directly to the Branch Manager. The position is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Vault and Cash Logistics (CL) Operations. The vault acts as a distribution center for the branch, in which all incoming and outgoing parcels coin orders/deposits, air courier deliveries/pickups are documented and maintained under strict security and operating procedures. The CL Operation’s main functions include Treasury Management, Deposit Processing and ATM Replenishment.

The Inside Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment and have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks that will allow him/her to not only practice current skills, but also develop new ones.

You will have the opportunity to:
 Oversee the daily activities of vault and Cash Logistics Operations and employees, which includes, but not limited to, hiring, training, and scheduling
 Effectively resolve complex issues and out-of-balance situations in all areas
 Maximize revenue and maintain customer service standards
 Implement policies, operating procedures, and security audits
 Assist the Branch Manager with reporting and analysis, in order to maximize efficiency in the vault and cash logistics.
 Investigate any workplace accidents or injuries and report investigation findings to appropriate internal and external authorities
 Promote a positive work environment, with focus on employee relations and diversity
 Train and develop both new and existing employees

Job Requirements

 Post-Secondary education is preferred
 Previous supervisory experience
 Ability to motivate and retain talent
 Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
 Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
 Demonstrated ability to set targets, establish priorities, and meet goals
 Must have sound knowledge of MS office suite with strong focus on Word and Excel
 Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
 Strong communication skills (verbal and written), bilingual (English and French) is an asset
 Must be able to work flex hours as required
 Must be prepared to carry a firearm
