We own and operate four of the biggest attractions in the Rocky Mountains ; the Banff Gondola , Banff Lake Cruise , Glacier Adventure and the all new Glacier Skywalk . We are looking for a modern professional with charisma, style and most important, enthusiasm, to join our exciting team! Toque is inspired by all-things Canadian and provides a relaxed, fun drinking and dining experience that celebrates Canada. Celebrate with us and be a part of the opening team!

As our Host/Hostess you will greet arriving guests, welcome them into Toque and seat them. While guests are waiting to be seated, it is the job of the hostess to ensure that the guests are made comfortable and kept informed of the status of wait times. The guests receive their first impression of the restaurant by their exchange with you! You will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and will be required to provide professional food and beverage service to all customers of Toque. Responsibilities include; meet and greet customers, handle all cash, credit card and room charge transactions during shift, complete and deposit all monies and transaction slips owed to the business, clean and organize as per Manager and Assistant Manager, receive and put away weekly beer orders, transport all empty bottles to bottle shed after every shift, remove all garbage at the end of every shift and assist bartenders when needed.

The successful candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Brewster standards.
