Currently we are looking for highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Compliance Co-ordinator (this is a 12-month contract position) in the Greater Toronto Area, ON. We are looking for the “right” person with the can-do, results-oriented, and analytical attitude with ability to excel in challenging conditions. Major expected results of this role are projects that are delivered on time, within budget to the intended levels of operability and quality.


  • Lead and manage quality investigations and compliance observations (Deviations, out of specifications, NCRs) with cross functional team members and ensure timely closure.
  • Create dashboards and status reports for management to provide CAPA and CCR status.
  • Initiate team and department meetings, develop action plans and take notes and minutes.
  • Lead and facilitate team discussions and capture commitments and deliverables.
  • Provide proactive leadership in moving quality & compliance goals forward within the department.
  • Monitor and follow up project progress through daily meetings or by email or in person.
  • Work closely with team members in implementing effective, risk based GMP Processes, procedures and documentation.
  • Issue meeting minutes and action items and follow up actions in a timely fashion with cross-functional teams.


  • 7 to 10 years of experience in quality and compliance investigations, reporting, cross-functional team management and support in a pharmaceutical or chemical industry would be a considered a very strong asset in the selection process.
  • Leadership, team facilitation and problem solving skills are an asset.
  • Good technical writing and editing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills are a must along with ability to work under pressure.
  • Individual must be a self-starter, conscientious and detailed oriented.


  • University degree or College Diploma in Science or Engineering (Industrial or Chemical).
  • Project management and use of MS Project tool at intermediate level, Solid working experience with MS Office (EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint) at intermediate level.
