BR2 Architecture has operated as a full service medium sized architectural practice in Edmonton, Alberta since 1978. The firm currently employs 20 staff to carry out a diverse range of services and projects throughout Western and Northern Canada including education, recreation, industrial and institutional projects.

We are seeking a Graphic Designer with a minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience.

The ideal candidate:

• Innovative and hardworking.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Possess a balance of skills in graphic design; website design; computer presentation; brochures, proposals; colour selection and reports.

Responsibilities:

• Ongoing update of websites.
• Review and update project data sheets, and other firm promotional material.
• Arrange to have taken or take photos of newly constructed buildings for integration into the firm’s website and promotional information.
• Update firm artwork that includes current projects display area; boards for upcoming conferences and tradeshows; presentation boards and general graphics as required by the Partners for the promotion of the firm.
• Ongoing development and management of promotional and proposal media, database, files and programs.

Requirements:

• 1 – 3 years of previous graphic design/web design experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Indesign; Adobe Muse; Adobe Flash; Adobe Photoshop; 3D Studio; Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Architectural graphics experience an asset.

This position can be part time or full time.
