The Boys and Girls Club of Wetaskiwin is currently seeking a highly effective and motivated individual to fill the following position:

Friendship Club Program Proposal

Proposal: An individual or group would plan and facilitate a weekly Indigenous Cultural program for participants between the ages of 6 to 18. This would include supervising and interacting with the participants in a safe and supportive manner to help them explore and experience the Indigenous culture, traditions, and spirituality. This could be done through crafts, cooking, games, or other relevant means.

Requirements: Staff or volunteers assisting with the program would require a Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Information Check. At minimum, one staff or volunteer would need to have First Aid certification.

Program Sessions: Once per week (1 hour session) after school until May 2018.

Remuneration: $50.00 per session with access to additional funds for program resources with preapproval from the Program Director.
