Do you have a strong background within Sales Support and Administration? Do you enjoy multitasking, wearing a lot of hats and learning all aspects of a business?
This small-sized company is located in Calgary’s Southeast is looking for someone resourceful, organized, and adaptable to join them on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities

Respond to customer requests or complaints in a timely manner and handle general telephone duties when necessary
Manage day-to-day relationship with existing customers and seek business opportunities with new customers
Assist with the pursuit of leads by researching contacts, qualifies, and presents solutions to acquire new accounts
Prepare sales orders, purchase orders, bills of lading, waybills, customs documents and other paperwork as needed
Keep accurately documented notes on all customer/dealer/vendor interactions and transactions
Determine shipping logistics using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates
Record and file vendor quotes, charges, damages, and discrepancies for reporting
Pack, seal, and label packages to prepare materials as needed and handle forklift operation when necessary (training supplied)
Receive and examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as purchase orders, sales orders, manifests and invoices to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
Prepare accurate reports and opportunity forecasts

Candidate Qualifications

1-3 years of previous sales support experience would be an asset
General Business, Sales, Marketing Degree or Certificate preferred
Experience within Simply Accounting required, experience within ACT! would be an asset
Strong typing skills and MS Office skills; specifically within MS Excel
Organized, resourceful, responsible, and a quick learner
A strong ability to handle all general administrative tasks
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
