Are you a detail oriented, outgoing administrative professional? Our major oil and gas client is seeking support for their Lloydminster, SK location for a 1 year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for playing a key role in ensuring the Heavy Oil business unit information management (IM) process and procedures are aligned with the Corporate Information Management plan.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Information Management plan and processes and be able to effectively communicate this plan to internal stakeholders within the business
  • Work with each department within the Heavy Oil business unit to understand their current document control policies and procedures and develop site specific IM plans aligned with corporate standards.
  • Develop guidance manual and tables for standard document naming conventions
  • Provide day-to-day document administration support to project coordinator and document management team lead
  • Provide facilitation of meetings to ensure strong alignment of objectives

Candidate Qualifications

  • 4 years of previous experience in document management
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
  • Previous experience sourcing and collecting information from internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency, especially with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with MS SharePoint and/or LiveLink is a strong asset
  • Previous experience in the oil industry
