Reporting to the Manager of Digital Platforms (Richmond Office), the Digital Platforms Support Technician is a valued member of the Digital Platforms team at Boston Pizza who is responsible for the overall development and management of all guest facing digital platforms (BostonPizza.com, Online Ordering, Native iOS and Android apps, MyBP Loyalty Program) working closely with both IT and Digital Marketing teams to support, troubleshoot and implement new initiatives. This position involves supporting all BPI digital platforms, project initiative research/development, and project reporting. The focus of this role will be the integration between the Digital/Online world and the in store POSi environment. Limited travel for in-marketing training may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project organization, implementation, documentation and reporting
  • Act as 2nd Tier support for our digital platforms regarding any escalated issue from our PSC (Support Center) group
  • Handle relevant in-house departmental requests for supporting any of our digital platforms (OLO, Apps, MyBP, Kids Cards)
  • Online Ordering Reporting and Analytics
  • Store Management across all digital platforms (hours of operation, delivery areas, online configurations)
  • Handle online discount requests from Marketing/Stores/Operations
  • Document reported problems within BPI’s ticketing system, and follow-up with stores to ensure timely resolution of problems and managed services
  • Coordinating and following up on technical support issues with suppliers and vendors
  • Work with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Enterprise Manager for advance reporting and store setup.
  • Travel for in market training sessions and conference
  • Maintaining our Online Ordering Test Lab, as well as Online Ordering and CMS databases as needed
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (eg. Win 7, Win 10, WinXP and Microsoft Office Sxuites 2013 +)
  • Experience with project implementation and documentation would be an asset
  • A proven analytical approach to investigation and troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate with technical & non-technical users / clients & employees either face to face or via email
  • Enthusiastic in dealing with new challenges and exercises professionalism
  • Proactive with excellent organizational skills, time management and multitasking abilities
  • Team player but able to perform well independently
  • Good working knowledge and experience in Restaurant Operations is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of excel, and digital analytics would be beneficial
  • 2 Year Technical Diploma or Degree
  • Ability to travel as needed
