Accountable for achieving/exceeding Territory sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) results through exceptional customer engagement, delivery of outstanding customer value and maximizing the number of appropriate patients on assigned products. As a true Pharma partner, acts as customer orchestrator to ensure a seamless positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Budget: Accountable for achieving/exceeding Territory sales and KPI results (sales vs. objective, market share growth, customer satisfaction, etc.) through exceptional GP customer engagement and delivery of outstanding customer value. Assists in the development of the territory and customer business plans & feeds up business opportunities to District Manager. Effectively utilizes all available and suggested resources to sell and promote Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) products through the customer journey. Accountable for assigned key accounts (e.g. Family Health Teams (FHT)). Implement and monitor allocated territory brand and operational budget spend.

  • Customer Engagement: Positions him or herself as a true Pharma partner with exceptional product and TA knowledge with all customers (physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other Health Care Providers (HCP)). Assists in the development of the Integrated Customer Plans (ICP) and accountable for the implementation of appropriate customer journeys, programs and actions guided by brand CSFs, Veeva suggestions, customer needs & insights. Customizes approach for each interaction on each customer (face to face, digital, Other Learning Activities (OLA), Continuing Medical Education, etc.) to assess customer needs and create value while maximizing the number of appropriate patients that receive assigned products. Utilize exceptional customer engagement skills to achieve good call outcomes on every call. Continuously feeds back market and customer insights (competitive intelligence, campaign and messaging feedback, etc.)

  • Customer Orchestration for Assigned Customers: Orchestrates customer centric engagements in collaboration with cross-functional and external stakeholders. Leads and manages all customer/stakeholder interactions for assigned customers.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Works collaboratively with all cross-functional partners within and across territories (other Medical Sales Representatives (MSR), Specialty Sales Representatives (SSR), Healthcare Affairs Managers (HCAM), Medical Sales Liaisons (MSL), et. al) to ensure a seamless positive customer experience and sharing of best practices. Collaborates with other members of the local account, medical and sales team to share tactics and appropriately deploy value-added offerings and build exceptional relationships with customers. Acts as an agent of change within territory to maintain a culture of performance, growth mindset, agility, accountability and intrapreneurship.

Qualifications:

  • University degree (Science or Business)
  • Prior experience in selling and providing exceptional customer satisfaction would be an asset.
  • Strong abilities in the following areas: Strong communication, interpersonal, customer engagement and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and effectively transfer knowledge of scientific and disease-related nature in a customer-centric selling process. Customer planning, organization, analytical skills, resource management, working relationships and teamwork, communication and delivering results, customer orchestration, commitment to extraordinary customer experience. Highly motivated and passionate.
  • Must possess a valid provincial driver’s license (based on location of position) and be able to travel.
