Duties and responsibilities

• Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments as per receiving and shipping schedules or department priorities.
• Coordinate the movement of material to offshore installations as well as around town to specified vendors.
• Supervise the preparation of material in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor to be shipped offshore via vessel or helicopter.
• Work with Client, Vendors, Offshore Stores, and Warehouse Staff to rectify material discrepancies.
• Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.
• Provides accurate and timely documentation of material and product movement.
• General office duties.
• Work with Inventory Manager to optimise space & resources.

Qualifications

• 1 – 3 years supervisory experience
• Positive attitude and desire to help others
• Great attention to detail
• Responsible and works well with others and independently.
• Good under high pressure situations
• Strong communication and personable nature
• Experience with inventory management software
• Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel.
• Experience with logistics/materials in the oil & gas industry.

Working conditions

This position is for full time employment. Office/Warehouse setting, although you may be required to work in outdoor elements depending on task required. Employee must be comfortable working around heavy equipment in a fast paced industrial environment. Administrative duties will be required on a daily/weekly basis.
