POSITION SUMMARY

The successful student will support the Analyst Relations team and Customer Success program, assisting with product briefings and industry surveys, events programs, customer testimonials as well as performing some administrative functions as needed. The student reports directly to the Analyst Relations Manager, and will be exposed to strategic initiatives and programs central to driving BlackBerry’s marketing strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend and present during in-person analyst briefings/events, when appropriate
  • Write and edit pre-brief collateral as well as customer interview guides, case studies and newsletters
  • Complete industry surveys by collaborating with multiple internal teams (e.g. product management, marketing, finance)
  • Keep abreast of industry and competitor trends
  • Assist with analyst and trade show schedules and appointments
  • Work with other marketing teams as necessary
  • Research competitor developments and BlackBerry response

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently Enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university and able to work 40 hours per week during co-op term

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on an ongoing basis
  • Superior work ethic and excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Self-starter who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

  • Classes and experience in marketing or communications are a benefit, but not a necessity

  • Previous experience in the technology or telecommunications industry
