​Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking a Business Development Manager located in Saskatchewan to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities relating to current and future growth and development. This position will focus on Industrial Construction and Maintenance projects across Western Canada.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Business Development strategy and process to achieve results
Complete business development activities from prospecting, cold calling, client meetings and deal negotiations for complex business to business agreements between Black & McDonald and our clients
Work with the Black & McDonald team to leverage opportunities and create deliverables for clients.
Know the difference between Sales/Marketing and Business Development: Develop long term relationships with our clients for successful execution
Develop significant business relations within the marketplace in the name of the Company
Maintain business relations with all key house and target accounts
Develop RFP and RFQ responses
Presentation preparation and delivery
Identification and capture of new business opportunities, identifying customer needs and applying innovative sales approaches
Negotiation of contractual terms and conditions with clients
Leadership and direction of proposal efforts
Communication with project managers to stay informed about customer satisfaction, profitability, quality, and progress of work
Participation in appropriate trade or industry groups

​ Requirements:
​A university degree or college diploma in engineering, business administration or in a construction or maintenance related field with a specialization in sales or marketing is an asset
5 years of experience as a business development representative or in a related occupation is an asset
5 years of experience in the Large Industrial project market
Experience in sales in the construction industry or related industry is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in effective administration and deployment of CRM.
Excellent presentation skills
