Logistics Coordinator

Job Descriptions:

We are looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods domestically as well as internationally.

A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed all jobs related to imports and export. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a meticulous working attitude.

The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily booking with overseas suppliers and local forwarders to keep shipments updated
  • Communicate with suppliers, forwarder, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
  • Arrange domestic shipping and receiving with trucking companies and carriers
  • Produce commercial invoice and packing slip when shipping out samples or bulk
  • Negotiate pricing of ocean and air inland and express freight
  • Verify and review all documentations accuracy before transferring to accounting dept
  • Create labels and packing slips for each PO
  • Follow-up shipments from booking to delivery
  • Source products overseas
  • Follow up orders internationally
  • Communicate with suppliers and resolve problems occurred during production
  • Arrange sample shipping and receiving
  • Make online waybills for shipping by courier or trucking company
  • Arrange 3rd party inspection online for each order
  • Calculate landed cost with duties and taxes
  • Keep PO / jobs updated and filled
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management

Skills/Competencies:

  • Proven experience as logistics coordinator
  • Experience in direct import and export
  • Knowledge of international trading laws, regulations
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Knowledge in customs dealings (certificate of origin, bill of landing, commercial billing, etc.)
  • intermediate to advance knowledge in MS office
  • Bilingual, Mandarin/English – spoken and written
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
